Bloom Where Your Planted
As we start a new school year many times we look at it and dread the thoughts of waking up early, doing the endless hours of homework and crazy projects, with even crazier deadlines. To many times our approach is wrong today I offer you this simple thought “bloom where you have been planted by God.”
The idea that you have been put in the school, you are in as an accident, this is a false idea. God knows where you are needed, and places you there for a reason. God’s word tells us that we are created in His image and for His purpose. You must ask Him, “What’s my purpose here?” Then be willing to listen and do what He says. The school you are in is your mission field, no need to travel to other parts of the world when you have been handed a field ripe for harvest.
God has given us the instruction to “Go into all the world and make disciples” to many times we think this means We are to travel to far off place and carry the gospel to people there, when in fact the world is where we are. Our world is right here, right where we are at this moment and we need to ask ourselves, “Have we shared the gospel yet?” You may ask, “How do I do this?” The same way Jesus did, by walking in love, respect and honor to all.
So this year, go to school, with the idea that God has planted you in your school for this time and be determined to make it the best year ever, not just in grades, but in fulfilling the mission you have been given to be an example of Christ to those in your school
